I'm not a dancer, at least not when I'm sober but I do love hearing Jimmy's version of Southern Cross!

It's been raining cats & dogs & maybe even a parrot or 2 here since we got up. Having my coffee at the tiki & it's coming down so hard that I can't even hear my fountain that is right beside me . The guessers say it will be like this most of the day. Maybe I'll give the pup a bath & then break out the frozen concoction maker...

Good morning. There were a couple of flashes of lightning during the 8th & 9th innings of the Pelicans game last night but it didn't rain so they were able to finish the game. There were a lot more than a couple of flashes of lightning while I was driving home. It started raining when I was about a mile from home and by time I pulled into the parking lot it was pouring and I had gotten a weather alert on my phone for a severe thunderstorm warning. I heard a couple of thunderclaps and we got a lot of rain but the severe storm passed us by.

Good morning BN. Already 85 feeling like 95 this morning, storms later today...summer in Florida. Nothing planned today, mowed yesterday so today might be a day of rest.

Got nothing on the agenda today except a couple loads of laundry. There are 3 over ripe bananas on the counter begging to be made into bread or muffins! Might even make some cookies while I'm at it....this will make my hubby one happy man. Have a great Sunday funday!

Still recovering today. Tired of the coughing, sneezing, blowing nose. But E got me some Chick-Fil-A chicken soup yesterday which is actually very good soup!!

Not much on the agenda, just a lot of rest. We slept in till nearly 10:00!!

I'm at Springs Brooks Stadium on the campus of Coastal Carolina University for game 6 of the Conway regional of the NCAA Baseball Tournament. I was expecting to see Coastal playing for the championship. Instead, it's the University of Washington and the University of Connecticut. If Washington wins, they're the regional champion. If Connecticut wins, they play another game tomorrow for the championship.

The UW Softball team beat Oklahoma today to move on to the NCAA Women's College Softball World Series.
The Mariners won again today to stay in first place in the AL West.

Currently, baseball is berry berry good in the Upper LH Corner...

OU... The Dawgs shut out the defending champion Sooners for the second time in 3 days, ruining their hopes for a 3-peat.
On the bad news side, the UW crew lost their first race of the season, coming in second to Yale in the National Championships.
