National Cheese Day Monday@ the MSC

Post by bodypainter »

Good morning BN. I like cheese. My wife loves it. Cheddar is America's favorite with mozzarella second.
Have a cheesy day,pholks.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Morning, pholks. Had this one (Montboisse morbier) last night as part of a tasting dinner. Delish!

Good morning.

When I went to the college baseball game last night, I went up to the concession stand to get a bottle of water. I told the girl at the counter that I was used to going to a baseball game and seeing beer stands all over. She told me they sell beer during the regular season but Budweiser is the sponsor for the NCAA baseball tournament and Coastal Carolina doesn't sell Budweiser at the ballpark.

National Cheese Day? Maybe that means I should have pizza for lunch.

Now that doesn't sound like fun.. :(

Sunny and warm here today, around 90.

My voice sounds like a guy, and I'm still coughing. I'll just have to make the best of it for an interview I have in 90 minutes.

And I LOVE LOVE cheese. Not much of a fan of the 'blue' family of cheeses, but I'll try them each time. The worst in Limburger - but my father loved it. :)

Afternoon BNers 8)

We had quite a storm last night in the area. We got some rain, but not much. There are parts of Spring that still don't have power. It is too hot not to have a/c.

According to my phone it's 86 degrees and it feels like 96. Good thing I'm indoors having pizza and a frosty beverage at Old Chicago.

It was hot and humid all weekend and I was at Pelicans games Friday and Saturday, then a college baseball game yesterday. Too much sun the last 3 days so it's indoor activities today.

I love a good spicy pepper jack cheese...and last night Bryan made me a dish from our local Mexican place called Flame Cheese. You fry up some chorizo sausage, then sautee poblano, jalapeno, onion, and layer it in a shallow casserole dish with loads of grated cheese, then you bake it till it's melted and gooey. Serve with diced tomatoes and sour cream rolled up in tortillas or just dip chips in it. 😋
