Afternoon BNers
It's a cloudy day but still hot.
It rained all around us yesterday, but we didn't get any rain at our house.

We are so bummed. Last week our summer park free concert series started but it had been raining for 3 days and we passed on going. Afraid our chairs would sink so far into the ground we’d never get out of them. Only 50 people were there and stood under their umbrellas the entire concert. (We’ve had upwards of 7,000 at some of the concerts)

Tonight Samantha Fish is to start at 7:30. Again it’s pouring. We may brave it anyway. At least the crowd will be small. Maybe we can sit really close to the amphitheater !

The Pelicans televise their Saturday and Sunday home games, it's Sunday, they have a home game. I think I'll crack open a beer and see if they can extend their winning streak to 9 games.

We do not live in Jersey, my SIL does...unfortunately we don't get there to visit very much either. Also unfortunately we will not be attending the Camden show either.

Went to my aunt's pool for a few hours this afternoon. It was cloudy most of the time. We were invited to a bday party for a friend of the hubby's that I didn't know about til this afternoon, bless his heart
But we had a good time with folks with don't see that often. Now it's wind down time at the tiki

Wish we could afford a second concert this year, but we are saving our pennies for our anniversary trip to Maine in September!
