Good morning. No big plans today but tomorrow is double header day at the ballpark, the Pelicans had a game against the Carolina Mudcats rained out earlier in the season and that's who they're playing this weekend so they're making it up tomorrow. I just hope they don't do what they did last night. They were winning 1-0 after 7 innings and their starting pitcher was pitching a perfect game but nobody ever pitches complete games anymore so they took him out of the game. The relief pitcher they brought in gave up 4 runs in the 8th inning and they lost.

G'morning, BN!
Mom's weekly shopping today. I got her a new set of sheets, which I've washed here, and will put them on her bed when I go over.
E and I will head to our favorite brewery or local bar tonight.
Tomorrow he has a fly fishing class, then his company picnic. We're also going to visit a new brewery in the area, then a new taphouse/restaurant a mile or so away.
Sunday - Cameron and I will try not to miss our fathers too much.
And make a nice meal for E.

Re: Fantastic FRIDAY @ the MSC
When I looked at the box score online this morning, it said he only threw 84 pitches. They could have brought him out for the 8th inning but had a relief pitcher warmed up and ready to go if he got into trouble.Dr.Corona wrote: ↑June 15, 2018 9:38 amWow!LIPH wrote: ↑June 15, 2018 9:34 am Good morning. Morning BNers
Nothing planned today or this weekend. Will watch drag racing on computer and watch it storm Sun. Wish we would have a nice day but we are in a drought and we need the rain.

Re: Fantastic FRIDAY @ the MSC
I went to Old Chicago for lunch, then I decided to take a ride to Broadway At The Beach to see if the new Grumpy Monk opened yet. As I was walking around, it started raining. The Grumpy Monk was open so I thought I'd get out of the rain and have a beer. I asked the bartender when they opened, he said yesterday. We had a really bad thunderstorm yesterday afternoon and he said for most of Happy Hour they had no power. Must have been a great grand opening.

I just got home. When I got out of my car, I had to walk about 50 feet to get to the elevator. It's raining so hard, when I got inside I had to change into dry clothes.
