I haven't had a good one in a while. A friend of ours went to a restaurant over the weekend that makes the best I ever had. Time to go back. :)

Hope you have a good Monday!

Good morning. It's supposed to be 90-95 degrees all this week with heat index as high as 105. :o I don't think I'll have too many outdoor activities on the agenda.

I can't remember the last time I had a margarita. When I go to a bar or restaurant, I have a beer.

89 feels like 94? Yuck. I hate summer.

Afternoon, BN. I hope you're staying cool.

I went grocery shopping and it's hot and humid. They have 8 beers at the Beer Den and I haven't tried any of them, but there was nobody there so I couldn't have a frosty beverage while I shopped. :(

Ahoy! A grey cloud the size of an imperial battle cruiser came over the lake and I left my rain coat in the car. I got rained a bit while I made a hasty run up lake to sunshine. It thundered while I was strapping down the boat. I followed the storm for an hour coming home.

I'm at Lulu's having a Crazy Sista Honey Ale. It's pretty good and the bartender is pretty cute. But I'm only having one, I already had lunch, it's too early for dinner and I have to drive home.

I stopped in the gift shop at Lulu's on the way out. If there's a gift shop you have to buy a t-shirt, I think it's the law. They sell 6 packs of Crazy Sista in the gift shop. For $14.00. I bought it anyway.

We have had a few showers today but nice gentle rain. Keep thinking we are going to have a downpour like they are having in Houston. Not complaining but we get rumble thunder but no rain.

Btw....our new fridge will be delivered tomorrow. It is hard to find one that would fit.😕

Hiya Nancy! Did you see the gridlock article about Red's Eats in Downeast magazine? I'm glad I don't have to commute through there.

That *IS* still nice. :D

Drove to Salida, CO today About a 2.5 hour drive). Met with a Marine E used to serve with. Not seen him in over 30 years. It was a beautiful drive, great folks (different wife, and 11 year old boy E never met before). Sure did enjoy them. We went to a brewery/pizza place. It was tasty all around. I tasted E's beers, and I got my margarita!! LOL!!

It's always like that. Can't wait until the state finally moves forward with the Rte 1 bypass.
