Good morning. My brother is in town from Oklahoma. Yesterday three of my brothers and I went golfing in 90 degree, high humidity weather.
We survived. Then we drove north to Cigars International for Margarita Monday. Good deals on cigars, $3 Coronas, and $4 22-oz margaritas.
It was a good day.

Taking Mom to the eye doc as a 2nd follow up to her surgery. She's told everyone she was having another surgery today. Calls at 11:30 pm, and 6:00 am so she can give me her grocery "list". Oy.

Storms here in CO yesterday got pretty bad, north of the Denver area. This is from one of my friends who lives in Thornton.

Muggy but not quite as hot here today. I'm off work so I will be doing some chores inside and brushing the 2 big dogs. That's a never-ending chore!

Good morning. It's only 85 degrees but the heat index is already 97. The forecast changed since yesterday, the heat index is supposed to be 107 today and 109 tomorrow instead of only 104 and 105. I live in a beach town and it's too hot to go to the beach.

Mom's eye doctor appointment went well. She's healing fine, and now seeing 20/30 (was 20/100) in the right eye. Left eye gets done July 9th.

Shopping at WalMart was - challenging.

More hail going through the area. Nothing where we live, but E was getting golf ball sized about an hour ago.

The temperature's back below 90 but the heat index is still 102. I think the best thing I can do right now is relax in air conditioned comfort and have a beer.

Ahoy! I got my art freak on power carving wood stuff tonight. I've got 5 gifts to paint as well. Concert preparation always gets me a teensy MANIC!

We have a new refrigerator. Looks about like our old one....wasn't easy to find one that fit the hole. Bigger isn't always better. Still waiting it to drop ice.

Storms? Yeah. Not a lot of rain. Just hail and tornadoes, and a bit of rain in some areas. E's and my sister's car were damaged.
