I used to always joke with my Grandpa that the son of a gun is a pistol.

Sunny here. Only a high of 65. The rest of the week is in the 90's.

Running back to our place this morning - gonna sell an extra car I have (2008 Malibut with 61K miles) to a guy that used to be one of the maintenance crew of our apartment. I was saving the car to give to Cameron, but he since inherited his late father's truck.

Good morning. Another heat advisory today, it's supposed to be 95 with a heat index around 107. Let's see - a hot day, on the weekend, the beach and the park will probably be crowded. I think I'll stay indoors and do laundry. I lead such an exciting life.

The show was great! Jimmy was in good voice (for Jimmy) and seemed to be enjoying himself.
We had good seats to the right side of the stage, except they were front row of the second section and my knees were crammed into the metal rail in front of us. My wife said that we'd need to keep that in mind the next time he came to town and I reminded her that Jimmy only comes to town every six years or so and he's 71 years old and...… I imagine that the next time we see him it'll be in Vegas or Waikiki.
He had a senior moment in OPH and missed the "BUT NOT YET!" verse.... I hope not an omen. He was looking at the teleprompter a lot.

And it's supposed to be 99 for the concert Thursday. Ugh.

Beautiful day here in the buckeye state. Daughter n pugs left awhile ago, finishing laundry, brushed the huge hairy beasts again.(working on some pretty nasty mats and making good progress) Hubby is fixing the dishwasher (and cleaning all the filters out). Gonna grill some cheeseburgers in paradise for dinner in a couple hours, and right now I'm enjoying a pineapple margarita!

It's all good. There's no tailgating at Coors Field. We're not getting there till about 4:00. Might stop at one bar near the stadium, then we're off to our seats.

Ahoy! I ate wings and fries for the first time this year. That will hold me for a long time. I even did some art stuff.
