FINALLY cooling off today. Cloudy and 60 right now. Feels great.

Good afternoon.

There are 2 state parks within 10 miles of where I live but I think I'll be staying away from both of them for the next week or so. The 4th of July is coming up, the temperature is supposed to be in the high 80s-low 90s all next week, both parks are beachfront and both have campgrounds. I'll pass on the crowds, thank you very much.

The Pelicans are sponsoring a blood drive at the ballpark before tonight's game. The way they've been playing, getting a needle stuck in my arm may be less painful than watching the game. They had a 9 game winning streak in the beginning of June but since then they've lost 15 of 17 games.

Quick shopping trip to Mom's and then E and I went out to lunch. It's a Mexican place and this is their 3rd location. One is by E's office, and the other is withing walking distance to our apartment. Good food, and prettier than the other two.

Hot & humid in Vacationland, too. Knocked out chores this morning and a little boat-about-the-harbor this afternoon. Time to relax.

We eat at a Mexican restaurant in Erie. It's very good and cheap!(weekday lunch)

Nancy, if you leave the harbor, is the air cooler? It is very cold away from Mt. Desert.

She's hovering about the same for several months. She does better when there are no changes to her, or OUR routines. She's been 'off' since my sister has been gone, and we're here at her house. Thanks for asking, Molly.

Time to pack up the cars. They should be landing in 45 minutes. They only live 30 minutes away from the airport. We'll leave when we know they've landed. See ya back from our place.
