Good luck with that company, Penny.
I fished in 88 degree heat and beat the storms coming back.

So. I had an interesting call this morning. :o The "no thank you" email I received on Friday? It wasn't supposed to be sent until the VP I've been speaking with had a chance to talk to me. He was embarrassed and upset with his HR department for sending it when they did. Truth is they had a very hard time with their choice. They all thought I presented well, and has instructed HR to try and find me something in the company, as they think I'd be a good fit with their culture. So, even if they can't find something for me, I told him I realllllly appreciated the call. :)
Fingers crossed, Penny. This might be the one!

There was just a story on the 6:00 news that according to booking.com Myrtle Beach is one of the top 5 cities in the US for people who travel to sample local food. Who knew we were a foodie hot spot? [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif] The other 4 cities in the top 5 were New York, New Orleans, San Francisco and Las Vegas. That might be the only way Myrtle Beach would ever be mentioned in the same breath as those other places.

I'm not a foodie. I wish I was more adventurous, but I'm just a meat and potatoes type.

You don't have to be a 'foodie', Molly. Just once in a while try a taste of something new. If you like it? Great. If you don't? That's fine, but you tried.

Sounds good!!! Happy for you. :D When we get the seats we want, we prefer to have the end of the rows, so we don't have to walk in front of people to exit the row for whatever reason.

So was the Denver show. Ugh.

Glad to see that.

None of us are that adventurous. I hate ordering something no one would eat. My last adventure was ordering wild boar. I might like it but it was too rare for me. I couldn't eat it. I'll stick to salmon and chicken.

Before I retired, whenever we had to work late we would order dinner. One place we ordered from had bison on the menu. I never had bison before and I figured since I wasn't paying for it I'd give it a try. It was really good and whenever we ordered from that place I always had the bison. I tried gator tail a couple of times and it was OK but I don't think I'd have it again. Then there are things that I just won't eat at all, like peanut butter. Or fish.

Everyone is different. I love most fish and really love peanut butter. But don't like seafood
