Yes they did. He called his parents that were on vacation and told them he got the call. They canceled all their plans, got on a plane but missed his first AB. They did get to see his first hit and score. He looks like he is going to fit in nicely.LIPH wrote: ↑July 9, 2018 12:53 pm Molly, I heard the Astros called one of their top prospects up from the minor leagues a few days ago, a guy named Kyle Tucker. He played for the Buies Creek Astros in the Carolina League last year, I saw him play against the Pelicans a few times and he was the best player on the field.
I think he's 21. Ronald Acuna on the Atlanta Braves is 20 and the Washington Nationals have a guy whose name I can't think of right now who's 19 or 20.springparrot wrote: ↑July 9, 2018 1:10 pmYes they did. Btw..is he the youngest player playing right now?
Thanks. I thought the announcers said he was the youngest but maybe he is the youngest in the division. Not sure. And he is 21.LIPH wrote: ↑July 9, 2018 1:24 pmI think he's 21. Welcome back!Saltx3 wrote: ↑July 9, 2018 4:23 pm Hey Everybody!
Back to work today - although my work day is almost over.
It's amazing how quickly 5 days off from work seem to go so much faster than the 5 days AT work ... what's up with that![]()
Lots of miles on the car to NJ and back to stay with Sistergoldenhair (and Mr. Goldenhair) and tailgating PH who was hanging with them before the trek to Camden.
Then off to Pittsburgh for us. Amazing 5 days !
Good for you guys!Saltx3 wrote: ↑July 9, 2018 4:23 pm Hey Everybody!
