Good morning BN. I'm back from the north Georgia mountains, it was a beautiful wedding for my stepdaughter. Rain chance was 80 to 100% but it stayed dry all day for the outdoor wedding. She and her new husband are on their way to Pensacola Beach for a week in the Margaritaville Resort. Unfortunately the forecast is high chance of thunderstorms all week.

The local catfish restaurant has great hush puppies!

Hushpuppies are Dumb.

Good late morning. I've never eaten a hush puppy but I did have a pair of hush puppies, probably when I was in about 7th or 8th grade.

I put off doing laundry yesterday because the weather was so nice and it was supposed to rain today. It's a beautiful sunny day, 83 degrees, low humidity and now it isn't supposed to rain until late tonight. Oh well. The laundry basket is full so I'll do laundry today after I get back from grocery shopping. I wonder if they have anything new at the Beer Den?

Took a walking tour yesterday. It rained in the morning but stopped before the tour. Nice and cool. Today is hot and humid. Yuck.

I assume that it is the same company in the US, but Hush Puppies here also make 'proper' shoes. (Actually, I would imagine they make them in China but that is of little consequence to this little story).

So, occasionally, it used to make me smile while sitting in an interminable meeting to remember that I had my Hush Puppies on...

Speaking of rain, the east coast of Oz in the grip of a major drought. My brother is hand feeding all of his cattle just to keep them alive, it is costing a fortune and I doubt they'll be ready for the sale yards any time soon.

So hug a farmer, they do it hard to feed us.

Larry surprised me with reservations at Margaritaville Island Hotel in Pigeon Forge.
Very nice hotel with great views. Of course we had dinner at Mville.

There is a huge shopping area across the street....lots and lots of different stores. Including a moonshine store that gave away samples.

It is very nice. TV is crap but we won't be here long enough to care. Since it quit raining the reception is some better.
Btw....Jimmy didn't scrimp on the HOT water. Great shower and hotter water than necessary but it felt good.
