Making for the Trades on Monday
Good morning BN. It's a downhill run kind of week.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Making for the Trades on Monday
checking in from south-central PA -- where it's still raining off and on since early Friday morning. No complaints though, we've were dry for 14 straight days with temps over 90. This is a good rain - heavy downpours and then a few hours before the next deluge! But, after 5+ years of waiting for our road to be dedicated to the Township authority, today was the scheduled day for preliminary patching with next Monday final paving. So......the contractor let me know last night (I'm the HOA Pres) that it may need to be postponed....UGH.....it's hard to get 39 Homeowners notified to get off and stay off the road for 24 hours.....

Good morning. Another day when it's supposed to rain but so far it's a nice sunny morning. Maybe the weather guessers will be right and the Pelicans will get rained out tonight.

Morning BNers
Still in Annapolis for one more Little Feat show. Thank goodness all these shows are indoors. We didn't plan to do the festival shows.
So far, it is sunny but that could change any time.

Back from the 'girly doc' - all went well, and I'm good for another year.

Re: Making for the Trades on Monday
I just got back from grocery shopping. I stopped at the Beer Den to see if they had anything new and while I was there a sales rep from River Rat Brewery in Columbia, SC stopped by. He had a cooler in his car and brought in 3 cans of beer for the guy at the Beer Den to try and get him to add them to the rotation. I was the only customer there so he gave me samples of all 3. Free beer, my favorite kind.
Two of them were kind of Budweiser-ish so I won't be buying them.

I saw Southside Johnny at BB King's in Times Square a couple of times. Once, they had to start a song over because Southside forgot the words. Another time, they had to stop a song and do a different one because the bass player didn't know the one they were playing.lime rickie wrote: ↑July 23, 2018 1:34 pm RM just played Southside Johnny/Talk to Me.![]()

I'm surprised, I saw them many times live in bars and small theaters and they always rocked.LIPH wrote: ↑July 23, 2018 2:41 pmI saw Southside Johnny at BB King's in Times Square a couple of times. Re: Making for the Trades on Monday
We're having a glorious sunny mid-winter day.
Pity I had to move a 1000kg of firewood and stack it, all while waiting for my boss to sign a letter so I can move on with the work I'm supposed to be doing...
