Good evening, just got back from having dinner with Molly and Larry. The original plan was to go to Lulu's but the hotel they're staying at is across the street from Broadway at the Beach, where Margaritaville isso we decided to go there instead. Bad choice. We got to Margaritaville and there was a line of people out the door waiting for tables, plus however many people were waiting inside or at the outdoor bar with those beeper things they give you. We wound up at The Grumpy Monk where I had a tasty burger and 2 beers I've never had before.
BTW, the rain did not follow them. Our forecast was for heavy rain today but it hasn't rained since last night.

Hey Larry, how far is Lulu's from Myrtle Beach boardwalk?
Have you been there yet?

Damn. It has rained everyday since Sat here. We are good now so I was hoping she would take it with them

I'm not sure how far Lulu's is from the boardwalk but it's about 20 miles north of where I live and I'm a few miles south of the boardwalk. Maybe 12 miles, give or take.
I've been there once but I just stopped in for a beer. I haven't eaten there yet.

It was good to see you again...it has been a few years. Dinner was good and no way did I miss waiting in that line at Mville.
Thanks for chauffeuring us. My Larry had just had enough for today.

And thanks, friends. Today is also 3 years since we said goodbye to Connie.

Smiling through my tears at the positive things from today.
