:o    Um, what??

Good morning Linda, Nancy, Deb, Bill! :)

Uneventful overnight, other than trying to convince my mother that using an entire bottle of liquid detergent in one day is using too much. :-?

Hope your Thursday is a fine one. Keeping our eyes on the Northwest and Hawaii and their skies. :(

Yes, the Judge is a HUGE FAN of Shania Twain (although he's never been to a show).....if you saw his wife it would make sense (they are both small, same hair type and both are equestrians). We celebrate more for her birthday than for his. Decorations, signs, her favorite foods and this year a Pinata in the shape of a horse :D

Amazing look at Hurricane Lane: https://earth.nullschool.net/#current/w ... 18.69,3000
Hopefully it will continue its western track and not veer north as they fear.

Good afternoon. I just got back from my yearly eye exam. My eyes have been getting better the last 2 years.
Without glasses my vision is 20/20! They said it's very rare for someone my age to not need glasses for anything.
Some older guy asked me what my diet was. I said, "Beer and cigars". :pirate:

I'm jealous. I did well on my eye test. I squinted and read a row better than usual. :D

Things have been very crazy around my house the past week or so. This past weekend we made the decision to bite the bullet and put our house up for sale and downsize a bit. We built this home 29 years ago and raised our 3 girls here. So its bittersweet, but we are not getting any younger (what???) And we are tired of not having a garage in the winter. (No fun) we have 3 bedrooms a loft and full bath upstairs that get used about 3 times a year when the oldest daughter and the 5 grands come to visit. We are just going to miss our 3 wooded acres, hot tub deck, location on a dead end road and seclusion. Still doesn't feel real, but I'm sure as soon as I start packing and selling and pitching nearly 30 years of accumulated stuff, it will get real very quickly. Lord, give me strength. Any advice appreciated.

Good luck with downsizing stuff. It is never easy. You have to be ruthless.....sometimes it is hard to get rid of memories.

Totally agree. Not everything is precious. You will always have your memories. But some stuff truly is just stuff.
