Good morning BN, squalls on the gulf stream this morning, bracing for the storm coming this afternoon. I'm hoping the track continues west of here

I hope Gordon does minimal impact. Prefer none. Keeping an eye on Florence for the east.

Good morning. Lots to do today - laundry, grocery shopping, a trip to the recycling center. I lead such an exciting life.

I've got a cold/allergies/bug. Went home early yesterday. As soon as I get done with my meetings today, I'll head to a doc in a box and see what they can do for me. Drainage is the color where it is time to go see someone.

Kevin was just at the walk-in clinic on Sunday -- horrible sinus infection (he's been getting them since middle school age)....
Hope they can get you a quick fix !

I had to read this post twice to make sure it didn't say what I thought it said.

Soooo, my day.
In at 7:00. 7:45 got asked to sit with one of my 'bosses' to review entering time card adjustments, as today was payroll cut off day. I actually understood AND helped her do this. This will be one of MY responsibilities once my training is complete. Already had 2 hours of training, but need 2 more. What's good is the online format is similar to what I used at DIRECTV as an employee.
Big meeting Thursday, and I have to print/prepare 4 binders - the files are not complete for me to print. Hopefully tomorrow. If I can't find 3-hole punched paper, I *will* be requesting it before the next quarterly meeting. I'm sure most of them don't know the paper actually exists.
'Normal schedule' for Mom is off this week, as my sister is taking her to get a haircut. They have a salon at the facility, but Mom doesn't like them.

I usually go on Saturday/Friday after work, and my sister goes on Tuesday. We couldn't let her go from Saturday to Thursday, so I made a stop after work today. Her mood was terrible. Anything from food she eats, to the heat/fan coming on, to..... Was done doing her shopping when she called and said she needed honey. No, I just brought you a bottle Saturday. Not going back into the store. When I got to her place, "I'm sorry I'm such a disappointment". Nope, you're not. I'm tired, and you don't need more honey. As I started unloading the few groceries, I looked in her cabinet, and set 6 bottles of honey on the counter. "Mom, you have enough and you'll be fine".
Then I met E at the brewery for one. He was short staffed at work and never got lunch. So he ate from a yummy food truck before I got there.
I'm ready to crash. Mom sounded better with another call a few hours ago.
