Good morning. Raining finally. Rather have that on a workday, but now I can’t cut the grass. I love a plan.

Good morning.

We used to have a Tilted Kilt restaurant here but it closed 4 years ago. The landlord bought out the remaining years on their lease so I guess the franchise owner thought he should try again at another location. They built a new one less than a mile away from the old one and it opened 2 years ago. It closed last November after being open a little more than a year. Earlier this year a sports bar named Benchwarmers opened in its place. Benchwarmers closed last week. I only went there once, about 6 months ago for Happy Hour, and I don't think there were 20 people in the place.

It's next door to Mellow Mushroom, which is always busy.

The hotel where you stayed was on the other side of Benchwarmers.

As of the 11:00 news last night, they were still unsure about Florence. The weather guy said we would have a better idea of where it's headed by tomorrow. I have the TV station's weather app on my phone and the latest they have is that an east coast landfall is possible but it's too early to predict where it might make landfall.

Charleston Beer Week started yesterday and runs through next Saturday. I was going to make a hotel reservation and go down there for at least 1 day and partake, there are some good craft brewers in Charleston and the surrounding area. Now with the uncertainty with Florence's path, I may rethink that.

The leftover of Gordon hits here tomorrow. Keeping an eye on Florence too.

G'morning Bill, Moooogy, Molly, and Larry! :)

Hope you feel better, Molly! :(

Good luck with the approaching storm, Larry. :(

We're off in a bit for Mom's shopping, and hit a couple of new breweries downtown Denver, and dinner at one of our favorites. :D

It's sunny and warm today. Close to 90's. :)

We get some crazy snow, hail, tornadoes, and forest fires, but I'm sure glad we don't have to worry about hurricanes. :(

Hey Penny. I don’t want to go through another Sandy. Especially at work. People call the police department to ask why the power is out. Never mind the folks who lost their homes in floods.

I remember seeing a Mellow Mushroom next door.

I feel like asking them if they call the power company when they need an ambulance.

The governor declared a state of emergency ahead of the hurricane getting here. The next update from the National Hurricane Center was supposed to be at 5:00, maybe I'll turn on the weather channel and see what they have to say.

Yes, I think you might need to turn on the weather channel.

Ahoy! We never got rained on at the craft fair and I had a crab cake platter. Craft fairs are the ground zero for women to hone nesting skills. All the fall stuff makes me miss summer even more.
