I just watched the first 15 minutes of the new version of Magnum P.I. There's no reason to ever watch it again. Some things should be left alone.

Ahoy! I worked out,built stuff, started a sign and bought new jeans 2 two inches smaller than the pair I bought during the diet. I used to wear clothes till they wereworn out, but now I'm giving them to the local charities, because they don't fit. I have T shirts that look like Moo Moos.

Another long/good day at work. We have some new doctors who want privileges to our hospital, and there were 14 of them. But each one has a bunch of paperwork an inch+ thick that I had to print out/organize. When I was done I showed the big boss (Marc) that I was ready. He had a big smile and I could tell he was pleased that I was on top of it without having to ask me about it.

Then how to deal with calls from Mom about wanting to die. Again. My sister and BIL got 14 calls about getting her out of there. So she says she's not gonna eat. Won't get dressed cause she doesn't have socks (she does). And a first - she tried to chew pills instead of swallowing them. Oy. Out of my league here.

Eye doc this afternoon. Eyes look great, small change for the better to my prescription. New frames picked out, but want E's opinion first. They're a bit different from what I've had for years.

Baseball games in the house tonight. Rockies and Cardinals are both fighting for a wild card spot. Cardinals (E's team) has a tie score, with a rain delay. Rockies are leading in the 7th, 9-1. Cubs lost. (Yes, I'll always be a Cubs fan).
