Thursday @ the MSC
Good morning BN. It's coffee time here with a strawberry waffle. Enjoy your day, pholks.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

G'morning Bill and BN.
A windy, a little rainy, start to the day. Ready to have a uneventful day, except for a Rockies and Avalanche win.
Off to the working place.

Good morning.
Today will be another hockey day instead of baseball. I get the Carolina Hurricanes games on my cable system and they're playing the NY Islanders tonight. As bad as the Islanders have been the last several years, I'm still a fan. Then at 10:00 the Vegas Golden Knights, my other team
, are on the NBC Sports Network so I'll watch that game too.

I survived my two trips. I really enjoyed the cooler weather.

Morning,
And I mean "morning". It's just after 1.00 AM and I am up and about as we've just had a terrific, joyous rain squall. So loud it woke me up.
This might not be the breaking of the drought but it sure is welcome!!!
Just looked at the gauge and there's been over an inch in the last hour.
Woohoo!

I had a couple of errands to run this afternoon. On the way home, I was stopped at a red light and the car in front of me had a decal in the rear window that said eelsnot.

I have no idea, but it's not something I would put in my window.

Re: Thursday @ the MSC
eelsnot is kinda like RainX for boat hulls.... it's super slippery and helps a boat go faster and helps prevent algae buildup below the waterline (which would also help the boat go faster.) I think they also have a product for surfers to put on the underside of their boards to go faster.

Hiya Rabz! Glad you got rain. We live in a wet area, but it can be dry in the fall and we have a shallow well. It went dry once. We are very cautious with water when it's dry.Rabbitz wrote: ↑October 4, 2018 11:13 am Morning,

Molly, I heard Houston refused to approve the opening of a sex robot brothel. Do local politicians have something against nerds who can't get real women?

It is dry as a dead dingo's donga here - well it was. Although it is nothing compared to rest of the eastern seaboard. All of New South Wales (i.e. the state) is drought declared and it is bordering on a natural disaster. The rains last night were very widespread and it looks like a few more days of rain to come.
Fingers crossed. It's tough enough on the land without especially bad droughts.
