Busy day at work, as I have to do twice the work needed, as the Nursing Supervisors haven't checked their mailbox in a few weeks, and I put time card errors for some nurses in it. Now I have to do things individually. They're jut not used to being in business office mode, as I am.

Tomorrow we have to clean out Mom's apartment in Assisted Living, now that she's in Memory Care. More fun, NOT. At least we only have to clean out possessions, and don't have to clean the actual place. THAT is good.

I'm outta here.

All present and accounted for which is quite an accomplishment. Kevin and I crashed and left the girls to their own devices. I know, scary.
Come to think of it I haven’t seen either of them yet. Both vehicles are here. How far could they possibly walk in the state I think they were in.

Morning yall,

Big weekend on campus. Aggie baseball exhibition game tonight. Undefeated Kentucky is in town for football (it is really odd to say that Kentucky is undefeated in football). The Wildcat fans are already in town.

My bestie since elementary school is bringing her family up for the weekend. Her oldest has been accepted to A&M and hasn't fully decided if she wants to come here. We are hoping she drinks the kool-aid this weekend.

Most everyone is out of the office so it's really quite. I have about 4 things on my to do list today. Should be able to crank them out by lunch.

Good late morning. This is another one of those days that I have nothing to do and all day to do it.

Good afternoon Gang!
Went & saw the Los Lonely Boys in concert at a small 300 seat venue last night. Absolutely blew the roof off the place. They did alot of improvisational stuff. Meshing riffs from various tunes including working in Billie Jean...even though they didn't know the complete lyrics. Enlisted help from the audience for that. Really bonded with the crowd. Rendition of Born on the Bayou was electric. At the end of the night lead guitarist Henry Garza just didn't seem to want to put the guitar down. Every time the other 2 members would think they were done Henry would throw down a few more licks so the other 2 boys would have to follow suit. Good stuff!

Friday brings a ice cream social benefit for a cancer patient that is an acquaintance of my girlfriend this afternoon, before I settle down at my daughters place tonight for my "late birthday" get together with keets & grandkeets that once again....you guessed it....features ICE CREAM!! & cake!
Will indeed be getting a sugar high tonight

I saw Los Lonely Boys twice, but I still lived in NY the last time I saw them. Henry can play that guitar.

Had seen them twice before at a couple of outdoor sheds with Los Lobos.
This show rocked ten-fold in the smaller venue
