Oktoberfest is this weekend, maybe I'll go this afternoon. We used to have 2 Oktoberfests the first 2 weekends in October but two years ago they were both cancelled, Hurricane Matthew visited us on October 8 that year. The Oktoberfest by the boardwalk never came back.

Beautiful start to the day. Then temps fall and snow tonight and tomorrow. We'll start Monday morning around 15 degrees. Wheeee!!

Hockey game tonight (DU - Denver University) and staying at a hotel close by so we don't have to drive home late.

Quick stop at Mom's place to drop off some things for her. We're still not 'allowed' to see her, while she's adjusting to the Memory Care wing. They will take the stuff from us, and bring it to her. I'm including a card to tell her she's loved, but I'm too sick to come in person.
Hate this. But she's well taken care of, and safe.

Going to Kemah to see Van Wilks this evening. I was going to take more earrings but I'm out of guitar picks. Opps

They didn't have any beers at Oktoberfest that I haven't already tried so I had a Weihenstephaner Festbier. I thought I'm at a German themed festival, I should have a German beer.

There were 2 really cute blonde women there with 2 really douchey looking guys. One of the women looked familiar, I think she's a reporter for one of the local TV stations. She's also the weekend anchor so I'll have to watch her channel tonight to see if it was her.

Sitting in traffic...5 lanes going this way. Must be a horrible accident...no one is moving. Glad we have a full tank of gas.
