Long day here. Left home at 6:15 am, and got home at 6:45 pm. Busy day at work trying to resolve several employee time cards (how hard is it to remember to punch the damn time clock?), and earned a few brownie points by getting my two bosses "Boss's Day" cards. Neither of them knew.
Then today I had arranged for the last 4 pieces of furniture to be picked up from Mom's old apartment. Two were large and heavy and took up a lot of space in the truck. This is the company we used. https://www.1800gotjunk.com/us_en Our pick up window was 3:00-5:00. They got there at 5:45. LONG day of waiting, and E got there first, cause I couldn't leave early. Very polite, efficient, and apologetic. Another truck ran out of gas,
so they had to help. It was around $300 for the pick up. THAT chapter is done. And it's a relief. Time to finally wind down and shut the brain off.. I hope.
