Good morning. The day is off to a pretty good start and we might make it to 80 degrees today but the laundry bag is full so I'll be indoors for a little while.

When I was in San Diego we had great weather. Lots of good craft beer out there too.

For the 3rd year in a row, I decided to go to Las Vegas over Christmas. I made my hotel reservation a few months ago, getting to town Dec. 23. When the NHL schedule came out I saw the Golden Knights have a home game on the 23rd, the last game before the league takes its annual 3 day Christmas break from Dec. 24-26, so I bought a ticket for the game. Problem is, game time is 5:00 instead of the usual 7:00 start. I hadn't bought a plane ticket yet but when I started looking I couldn't find a flight at a reasonable price that got me to Vegas in time for the game. A couple of days ago I bought a ticket for Dec. 22 instead, then went online to change my hotel reservation and add the extra day. I got a message that I couldn't change the reservation online, I had to call the Flamingo directly. I called, the customer service rep I spoke to told me they were completely booked on the 22nd but I should call back every couple of days because they get cancellations. I went back online and tried booking a room for 5 days instead of the original 4 days I was planning on being there. Not only did I get a room at the Flamingo for the 22nd, when they were "completely booked", but my new 5 day reservation was $41 less than the original, now cancelled, 4 day reservation. Since I am nothing if not thrifty, if I go back again for Christmas next year maybe I'll wait until October to book my hotel.

Yes, but I had to cancel the original reservation and make a new one to get the extra day.

Although very windy, it is 75 degrees outside! Based on the temp, I decided to use some sick leave & leave work early. I had already planned on a mental health day tomorrow so my weekend has begun

I’m off till Monday. Looks like I picked 2 good weather vacation days

I've been looking for Jessica Alba for years, I haven't had any luck either.
