Good morning Nancy and Andrea. I'm heading 60 miles north to fish.
Enjoy your day, pholks.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning. The Bob Dylan concert was pretty good last night but he's not a very engaging performer. He didn't say a word all night, not even "thanks for coming, good night", at the end of the show when he took a bow with the members of his band. And he didn't play the guitar, he played piano on all but 2 or 3 songs.

Checkout time isn't until 11:00 and I think I'm going to take every minute I have, I don't want to drive in what passes for North Charleston's morning rush hour. The hotel is on a main road right off I-526, there's an outlet mall less than a mile away and the airport isn't too far, I'll let the traffic ease up before I leave.

Say goodbye to the Margaritaville there for me. A little sad as I have had some really good times there with friends and family.

Oops! Thought you saw the show in CT!

Sad , but not shocked on the Closing. Jimmy hasn't played the arena since 2009. Also , I believe there was a lawsuit of some type between Buffett and Mohegan Sun. At one time Jane Buffett was on some board with Mohegan Sun. I'm sure it wasn't from the restaurant not doing well. Every time I went , it was crowded. I'll miss it.

Our beautiful fall weather lasted 1 day. Rain expected for the next 4. Which we certainly don’t need

Well. It just got interesting here in the courthouse. Someone from what we call “the public” just had an “accidental discharge of weapon”. 😳

Made it back home, no traffic and only a little rain. It isn't raining now but it's very overcast.

WOW!!!

I didn't think "the public" could bring weapons inside, or at least past the metal detector?

Walked 6.64 miles today. Yes. My feet are throbbing. Would like to go to a park this evening but I can't walk another mile.
Tomorrow we start our 3 day drive home...... :(

That wore me out, Rabz.. but thanks for posting that! :D

Glad you made it home safely, Larry. I can't stand his voice, tho.

Molly?? I'm prescribing better SHOES for the next trip. :( Safe travels.

SO glad everyone is okay, Linda!! :o

Semi-busy day at work. Had to review everyone who worked Saturday night to make sure the time clock added an hour to their time. They all turned in manual forms, that were NOT needed cause the clock did what it was supposed to do.

Picked up new glasses on the way home from work, filled the car up with gas, got the mail, stripped the bed and washed the sheets, unloaded/loaded the dishwasher, washed a few dishes from Sunday dinner by hand, took care of some of Mom's financial stuff, and now ready to put the bed back together. I'm pooped! :)

I can't find shoes that I can wear for long. I either get blisters or bruise a big toe that results in me losing my nail. I have yried many styles and brands but nothing works.
I'm sure walking greater distances than I usually walk is the biggest problem.

:( I've never heard of these shoes until my sister started wearing them, and got some for my Mother. They aren't 'cheap', but they are well made and might be an option?

I have 2 pair. San Antonio Shoe company. Used to wear them at work when I had trouble with my feet. Haven't tried wearing them all day in a theme park. Maybe I should.
