Hey All !
So glad we have quite a fews shows on the DVR for this evening. I have a really hard time watching or listening to the repetitive reporting on the pools.

Good morning BN. Yes, the dvr is loaded for tonight, so tired of all the political stuff.

Good morning Steve and Linda. Voting is a party day for Anne. She works the poll and loves it. The workers all bring food, set out a puzzle and visit with neighbors. I vote, eat and leave.

Thanks for helping Anne. We can only imagine how much your community loves the Logans!
As a judicial employee I am not permitted to work at any polling place or publically promote endorsement of an elected official ( i. e. Sign in yard). We never talk politics at work. And I’m good with that.

I'm VERY good with that. Work, FB, parties, bars, etc... my business ONLY.
Good morning, BN!
Should be a quiet'ish day at work. 2 big bosses are out at meetings in Vegas. Have to stop over at Mom's after work with a few supplies. Not as much as we used to, tho.
Make it a great day, and enjoy no more commercials!!!!!

Morning BNers
We are driving out of Anaheim on our way home. Just drove by the Angels stadium. Looks like it could rain.
We voted as a family 2 weeks ago the first day of early voting.

I went to vote, my polling place is a small private school, and the parking lot was full. I drove a little way down the road and parked in a gym's parking lot, they probably have room for about 100 cars and there were less than 10 cars so I parked all the way in the back and walked back to the school. Then I waited over an hour, it's in the 80s and the heat index is up near 90.

They need a larger polling place, or at least someplace that has enough parking for the voters.

We voted a couple of weeks ago..... Washington is a vote-by-mail state.
Last year all we had to do was stick a stamp on the envelope and mail it in, or find a Mail-In-Ballot drop box. That was too hard for some folks, so somebody sued the state and now the ballot envelopes are postage paid.

yep -- I posted this yesterday.....
Well. It just got interesting here in the courthouse. Someone from what we call “the public” just had an “accidental discharge of weapon”.
My guess is the Lanc paper won't report it...

I just went to get my mail and I saw one of my neighbors who lives in the building across the parking lot from me. He works as an usher at Pelicans games and he's also a retired jockey. The Pelicans have home games the weekend of the Kentucky Derby and he said the team's general manager asked him if they can get a horse at the ballpark, would he ride it. He said they're trying to get 2 horses and between innings they'll have a race from the right field foul line along the warning track to the left field bleachers.
