Wino you know wrote: November 7, 2018 3:16 pm Hello to anybody who’s anybody.
Got home late last night from Key West.
24 hour’s ago I was in t-shirt & shorts, and standing under palm trees.
Today I’m cold and bored out of my G.D. skull.
SO cold, and SO bored.
Possibly of snow on Friday.

Cold & bored.
Welcome home Garry????

Good grief. Can you guys sort out your politics?

We're even getting wall to wall coverage here in Oz.

Here's some handy tips:
Get on with the counting, already.
I don't know why this Mueller guy is being investigated but get it done, please?

Also do you guys really have to vote on a Tuesday? Who has the time for that?

Sheesh.

Look all I want is my TV shows back...

:) :o

The first Tuesday was chosen because the harvest was over, yet bad weather hadn't settled in. Most voters attended a long church service Sunday and travelled by foot or wagon on Monday to vote on Tuesday.

I suppose a major difference is that we have compulsory voting here, so Saturday means that for the majority it is easier to get to a polling place.

Compulsory voting? Who voted that in?

Our equivalent of your 'founding fathers'. Well, at least I suppose that's who gone and done it...
