Good morning BN. Mac sang this Saturday and stopped singing during the last chorus and listened to the audience singing.

Hey All!

Why is it the weekend days go by so quickly?

Kevin and I have a state holiday from work but we both have dr appts (not sure why we scheduled like that?). The rest of the day will be spent doing odds & ends of shopping, cleaning, guitar playing (Kevin), etc.

Have a wonderful day everyone.....what are your plans?

Good morning. I left for the concert at the Pelicans ballpark about 2:15 yesterday afternoon and didn't get home until a little after 10:00 so I plan on relaxing today.

There's a digital time and temperature clock on the outfield wall at the ballpark. When the first performer came onstage, it was 3:02 and the temperature was 57 degrees. When it ended at 9:38 it was down to 50 degrees. I was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a jacket. There were people dressed like it was the middle of winter - heavy coats, gloves, scarves. I even saw 2 people wearing earmuffs. And there were a lot of people with blankets wrapped around them at their seats. What a bunch of pansies.

morning!

nothing like starting the day arguing with the apartment complex. trying to get approved for the new place but my current place won't give them any information until I give them a move out date and forwarding address. How can I give them that until I secure the new place?

This level of stupidity is one reason we are moving.

It's getting colder here in the Upper LH Corner with daytime temps in the low 50s.
Mrs SPH has started wearing her down parka and wool cap and I've switched from T-Shirts to Long Sleeve T-Shirts....

Morning BNers

Larry, not everyone is as tough as you are. You lived in NY for years. People in the south have 'thin' blood and get colder quicker. It is 50 degrees here and I am sitting on the couch with 3 fleece throws and am still cold. Yes, the heat is on. We are suppose to have a freeze tomorrow. Ugh.
What happened to our summer.

In the interest of full disclosure, I also saw a handful of people wearing shorts. I'm not that crazy, the forecast was for lows in the mid-40s.

Ordinarily I would expect The Big Bang Theory to at least mention Stan Lee's death in an episode. But this late in the year they probably finished taping for the season already. Maybe they'll put up an "In Memory Of" card at the end of an episode, that's pretty easy to add.

"The Big Bang Theory stars pay tribute to Stan Lee as Marvel legend dies age 95"

The Big Bang Theory stars have paid tribute to Stan Lee and thanked him for his ‘incredible sense of humor and insuppressible lust for life’.

Chuck Lorre's Vanity Cards in the closing credits are usually really good.

I have a signed rejection letter from Stan Lee. I sent some sketches to Marvel while in college.

No holiday at the flower shop, getting things decorated for Christmas. Bryan was off and spent time cleaning carpets, he's such a great guy! I'm off tomorrow but the workers are coming very early in the morning to hang the drywall where there was a leak that we didn't know was still active...so I'll be cleaning for a showing on Wednesday evening. Sail on Stan Lee.

Good luck, Janice. I despise a lack of common sense.

I admire and respect the work of Stan Lee, but I'm not drawn to tears over him.

Molly - I do remember your posts of ridiculous heat this summer. ;)

Larry - Some folks just over or under dress..

Work was okay today. Nothing stupid, but nothing OMG. :)

Brushed about 5" of snow off the car this morning. And that's cause E brushed at least 4" yesterday while it was falling. At least it was mostly powder. The sun came back out around 9:00 am, and all the main roads were dry again. :)
