Start the Week MONDAY @ the MSC

Post by bodypainter »

Good morning BN. It's a wintry week here. I have a few projects to busy myself, but I'd rather be fishing.
Enjoy your day, pholks.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

hey everybody -- I realized I missed stopping in at the MSC yesterday...how did that happen????

Last week it was up to 78 in chambers #5 -- came in this morning it was 64. It's gone up a whopping 1 degree in 3 hours.

Good morning. We had some rain overnight, the streets were wet when I looked out the window this morning. The sun's out now and it's in the low 60s.

I got an email from Old Chicago yesterday that I was a "Thanksgiving Mystery Value Winner." I can win anywhere from $4 up to as much as $500 in OC Bucks but in order to find out how much I won I have to show the email to a server or bartender so they can enter the code into their system. I doubt if I'll be lucky enough to win $500 but maybe I'll go there for lunch today, I might win enough to pay for the meal.

They had a special menu item for their latest mini-tour, chianti braised beef with rigatoni. It sounded good but the turkey sandwich was cheaper and I am nothing if not thrifty.

Hi all,

Off to the physio this afternoon.

Neck and shoulder are all discombobulated. I suspect it is stress related.

Of course the only true cure for stress is some quality "Aelan Taim" (Island Time) but that is six months or more away. I don't think I will survive that long :) :o :D

Hiya Rabz! I'm the poster boy for stress issues. Retirement helped a LOT. How about massage , chiropractic, or physical therapy?

Then,,,,alcohol.

I was watching ESPN earlier and they said Redskins QB Alex Smith's broken leg yesterday was 33 years to the day after Redskins QB Joe Theisman's broken leg. They also thought it was necessary to show the replay of Theisman's injury. I watched that game live, I didn't need to see his leg snap again. :-o

Worked today, we did our shop windows for Christmas and were fairly busy. The drywall repair in the family room is finally completed. They came after we got home to put the trim back up. 🙌 So, all repairs have been completed now we just need to get an offer. I will be baking tomorrow. Making 3 pumpkin rolls (2 for a co worker) and I'm also doing a Pumpkin Delight dessert to go with our pumpkin roll. I'll also make my Fresh Cranberry Orange Relish and a Coconut Coffee Cake for breakfast on Thanksgiving. I work Wednesday, so I need to get a jump on things.

My 'office' (mind you it's an older hospital room) was 44 degrees when I arrived. Turned on the wall unit, and got it to 66 when I was leaving at 3:30... Yeah, it was cold.

I didn't see the play but the Redskins played Houston yesterday so it probably was. They said he broke his tibia and fibula.
