The only place I'm traveling to is work but just for a 1/2 day so not so bad. Tonight We the kids & grandsons are coming for pizza and our traditional thanksgiving family movie (Planes, Trains & Automobiles) tonight since Austin's Mommy, Deanna, must work tomorrow. Austin & Eil will watch Home Alone
Good morning Linda and Nancy. The train sequence was filmed in Gowanda NY. I worked with guys who ran the train. In the film the train is to be in the plain states. Watch the background for big hills.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
Different work environment around the Holiday's. Hospitals and patients don't take days off. I do get Tomorrow off, but took PTO for Friday so E and I can enjoy some time off.

I always got the day after off, Mrs SPH never got it off (clinical RN in a pre-anesthesia clinic). She could have taken a day of vacation, but liked to save them for when we were going somewhere. I kinda think maybe she preferred being at work so that I was left with the final clean-up activities....
The day before T-day and hump day.... Thump Day?
I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

Today is the 3rd Wednesday of the month which means the pest control guy comes to spray all the units in my building. He has keys but I like to be here when he shows up. A new company started last month and I was out of town on spray day so this is the first time I've seen the new guy. He showed up about an hour later than the old guy, threw my whole schedule off.
We are planning to go to Victoria to Larry's brother's. It is a tradition for many years.
They have 7 grandkids so lots of kids running around.
She told me jot to bring anything but I can't arrive empty handed. So we are taking chocolate pecan cookies and queso and chips.
I just checked the weather in my old neighborhood on Long Island. The high temperature tomorrow is supposed to be 26 with overnight lows in the teens. I'll take the 50s that we have here.
We’re looking a cold front right in the kisser for the next few days. But since we’ve already had 6” of snow (the 2nd biggest on record for this time of year) I guess the cold is better!

Think of all the people lining the streets to watch the parade.
Bbbbrrrrrrrrrr
Ahoy!
The day started abruptly at 5:45 AM by our cat trying to catch a mouse. He got one two mornings ago. Anne thought it was one of his toys as the house was still dark. She took care of that one. I got this one and I worked at stopping their entry. Back to painting.

You know that pretty day we had?
Never mind
It started raining about sunset. You know, right after Larry paid guys to clean up the car.
Oh well, it will be clean but water spotted tomorrow

In all the years I lived up there, I never went to the Thanksgiving parade.
We went several times, it was half a block from our apartment, early 90s. So much fun, and great to be able to duck back home for bathroom breaks and more coffee and hot chocolate.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...
