Morning BNers

I had a steroid shot yesterday and they make me nuts for a few hours...higher BP, rapid heartbeat, hot flashes. Yup. Not able to sleep.
But I got the Christmas village up and a little more decorating.
Daylight hours are going to be interesting.

I hope everyone else had a good, restful night.

Good morning. The temperature might make it to 70 today but there's also a 100% chance of rain and a flash flood watch. I think I'll stay inside.

UGH -- I've had enough of those shots to feel your pain......hope you can rest a little today and then get back on your "regular sleep cycle" .

Actually, my side effects are kinda back to normal-ish.
Maybe after a trip to Walmart, there will be a nap in my future.

sigh....we're in (another) flood watch from today through 7pm Friday. This is the wettest year on record for Lancaster County since records starting being kept. And we've still got 11 days to go in 2018

Made a quick trip to Walmart. Didn't find every thing on the list. How hard should it be to find breaded okra? 8 can usually find it but not today....
It is one thing Ryan asks for at Christmas dinner.

The weather guessers guessed right today, the rain is just pounding down on the roof now. I'm glad I'm not out there driving in this.

But it could be worse, at least it isn't snow.

Last Friday we had gusts of at least 57mph (that's what my anemometer recorded before the power went out) and today at least 53 before the power went out. I guess the good news is that I don't have any more leaves to rake! I do have to re-string the Xmas lights on the tree in my front yard....
