I just saw on the news about a Flip Flop Drop in Folly Beach SC. I worked half a day as did Bryan. He is on a quick trip to the store for sub fixings for tonight. Also, I need a lime! We are staying in tonight, its raining, cold and dreary....looking forward to some hot tub time!
Happy New Year my Phriends! Stay SAFE!

Happy Early New Year Gang!!
Sounds like Rain is common theme to close 2018 across the country. Same here.
NYE has become bittersweet to me for a particular reason so I'm fine staying in.
Watching the Grand kids tonight while daughter & S.I.L. grab some dinner & catch a set of music at place down the road. Not expecting them to be out too late. But what do I know..... Then its Dog sitting for some friends overnight so tonight/tomorrow are just numbers on the calendar to me.

Happy New Year BNers! We have the Pelican drop here in Pensacola and in Mobile there is the Moon Pie drop. I'll be staying in tonight.
Low 70's and rainy today, almost need to turn on the A/C.
Ooooo. So Moon Pies fall from the sky instead of confetti?

Among the many drops in PA are a giant pickle in Dillsburg, a stuffed goat in Falmouth, a giant Hershey kiss in Hershey (of course),
a sled in Duncannon (where they used to make Lighting Guider sleds), and a giant cigar in Red Lion.

As for myself, I'm going to drop a pork roast into a crockpot full of sauerkraut.

In Seattle they blow up the Space Needle:
So here it is. We had 1 more day of rain than Seattle. WTHeck???
——-
Lancaster County had more rainy days in 2018 than Seattle's average according to our local news outlet....
2018, the year it rained.
The year was the wettest on record for Lancaster County. We decided to find out how many days had rain, from Monday, Jan. 1, to today. We defined rainy days as those in which it rained at least .01 of an inch (that's the standard Seattle uses). We used data from Millersville’s University’s Weather Information Center.

Can't say I've ever heard of Denver/Colorado 'dropping' anything. Except maybe snow. LOL!!
It's below zero without the windchill tonight. 2" of snow today, not sure what we'll see overnight. Shouldn't be much. But close to 60 by the end of the week. Sybil.
Quick trip to Mom's tomorrow cause she needs just a couple of things.
The Apartments had to 'order parts' for our dryer. Great. How does that help me now? E and I have enough to get through the next few days, and I can do laundry at my sister's house when we head over on Thursday after work. PITA.
This Charcuterie board was a Christmas gift from Cameron. I think I did alright for my first try. The stuff on the top is strawberry/honey jam, Fig spread, and habanero pepper jelly. It was our dinner tonight. Filling and rich, surprisingly.

Happy New Year to those where the ball has dropped.
We have been listening to fireworks since about 7 pm and they are still going strong. I was hoping they would run out by now.
No, they aren't legal in the area, but we are unincorporated so I guess it is no man's land.
