Do they ever offer a Citibank early access pre-sale code for Alpine Valley?

I've never seen a pre-sale for Alpine, just on sale to general public

I may wait to buy tickets. In 2016, I bought tickets about a third of the way up section 203 on the Sunday before the show for $30 each. I’ve read something on here about Ticketmaster releasing seats in waves so maybe there’s something to that...

That's what my plan was, but since he hasn't played Alpine in two years I feel like this show may sell quick

I didn't think I had ever seen one either, but thought it was worth asking. Thanks.

Trust me, I wish there was a presale. Especially since he hasn't played Alpine in 2 years. Would like the opportunity to sit closer, instead of getting seats in the back of the reserved seating section

Where do we think he is playing the Thursday before?

Since Detroit is the Tuesday before, maybe Cincinnati? Can't imagine a Chicago show on a Thursday, and right before Alpine either

Or Indi.

The only reason why I’m sorting of buying the “Chicago will be skipped” rumor is that there are usually two months between Chicago and Alpine. So unless Chicago is a late May date, I’m not sure where it fits in this year.

Per this article in the Milwaukee paper, Alpine will be the only IL/WI stop this year - https://www.jsonline.com/story/entertai ... 467136002/

"The Alpine show is being billed as his only Milwaukee and Chicago area appearance for the year."

Nice to see Alpine getting the rub and Tinley/Northerly/Wrigley/Fire Soccer stadium being skipped.

Oh. My. Goodness!!!! So excited to hear Jimmy Buffett will be at Alpine Valley this year!!!

Does anyone have info on groups that have buses going to the show? In years past we've taken them out of Madison, WI with Chasers or Volcano Express but it seems early to find anyone with something organized already.

Thanks for the help.

I might look into it. A lot less chance of the weather at showtime being as crappy (meaning cold and rainy) in mid-July as it was at my first -- and so far, only -- concert at the end of August 2009.

Ugh. Just realized it's Country Thunder weekend in Twin Lakes.

Lots of cops and unfortunately more traffic than usual on the way home

Interesting question... if you've gone to a concert at Alpine Valley and you realize that you are in no condition to drive safely, can the venue legally force you to leave?  Or can you 'sleep it off' in your vehicle in the parking lot until later the next morning?

Or do they have to offer you a "Safe Ride", sponsored by the Wisconsin Tavern League, someplace else ... like your home — or more likely, a motel nearby?  And what if there ain't any motels available?

I don’t know, but on a related note, people were a mess at Zac Brown at Alpine this past August. I’ve seen some people drunk at Buffett, but man, the super drunks at ZBB we’re a total mess.

I’ll be there with a crew of drunks on the lawn. :) Hey, gotta introduce my generation to the Parrothead way of life any way they’ll listen! ;) Anyway, I’m also a bit concerned about logistics of getting out of there. I’m guessing Ubering will be near impossible? (I got the nearest hotel I could, like eight miles away.)

Thanks in advance for any advice/help!
