I would go in as soon as gates open for lawn. One year I stood on the walkway going in last minute.

You're doing lawn?
I bought mine on the ticketmaster express phone line. It's what I could get past the verbal prompts.

I'm fine with lawn, certainly sat there enough in my distant youth. If my friend's sister decides to come, too, I'll give them the lawns and pick up a single somewhere closer to the show, that's never an issue. I also fully expect, like GW, that the outer pavilion sections will also have plenty of open seats and upgrade opportunities closer to the show.

Little bit of a nightmare, but in with two on the center center aisle of 310 about 10 5-10 rows back.

Grabbed the VIP parking, too. If you've ever been stuck in one of the satellite lots there you know it's worth the 50 bucks to keep out of those. sometimes they stick you there if you're early and sometimes if you're late. Either way it's not a lot of fun compared to getting one of the grass median spots with the trees.

I'm not a fan of having to take a shuttle from my car to the venue, and that dirt lot can get hot and dusty in the summer.

Does your parking pass say what time the lots open?

No, I was wondering that myself. I figure they're probably going to open earlier than they list anyway. They can't really divert anybody anywhere without creating a mess on the Garden State. M y guess is they'll fill up the remote lots with the early arrivers.

And, just an FYI for anyone looking...they jacked the premier parking rate up 20 bucks since this morning. It was $39 when I bought mine this morning. It's $59 as of now.

Missed out on the ticket sale today. Had to deal with a situation at mom and dad's. Taking dad to the doctor tomorrow.
Also had to deal with furnace failure at Jeannette's dad's house. Been a lousy Monday. :pirate:

over a $100 (face value) with taxes and fees for a lawn seat? Are they serious?

It says the price includes general parking for the day which is usually 20-30$ but when they went on sale they were $40.00 for lawn plus fees. Now they are $84.00 plus fees. When did they start changing ticket prices? It is insane to me.

"Demand pricing". They did it for GW, too.

Didn't hear anything like that for the other shows that have gone on sale but I wasn't paying too much attention to the others so can't say for sure.

When I was growing up lawn seats there were like $6 or $8 or something.

Crazy! I will take my chances and wait till closer to the show. I doubt the lawn will sell out. PNC over sells that space all the time.

If not, I will save the headache and catch it on Mville TV.
