Back in the day, when it was still the Garden State Arts Center you could tailgate. Need Colleen aka sistergoldenhair to tell us the latest stance.

It is right next door to the State Police barracks though. LOL

If I still lived on Long Island I might go to this show but I already had to choose the games for my Pelicans season ticket plan and Aug. 6 is one of them.

I sent an email to the venue asking about tailgating and when the lots open. Stay tuned.

Gate Times

Parking lots will generally open 1.5 - 2 hours prior to our scheduled gate time. Gate times vary, but are usually one hour prior to show time. Please check the specific event page as these dates are subject to change. Please do not attempt to enter the venue any earlier than the designated times as you will be turned around and told to return when the parking lots open. Let's see if they are opening earlier for Jimmy.

Tailgating

Permitted in the lots for 21 and over for ALL SHOWS

We are committed to creating a SAFE environment that is fan friendly for all of our guests to enjoy. For most fans, tailgating is a time for enjoying the company of friends and family. For your SAFETY and the enjoyment of all, we ask that you please help by observing these tailgating guidelines:

PNC Bank Arts Center parking lots are reserved for concert patrons only.

Occupy only ONE parking space per vehicle. Guests must tailgate in front of or behind their vehicle only. Tailgating at your vehicle should not interfere with the normal traffic flow. Nor should it interfere with other patrons.

Please be aware of your surroundings and make note of where you are parked. Please be careful and mindful of all vehicle traffic while in the parking lot especially while your row is being parked. All tailgating activities must be conducted in accordance New Jersey State law. Underage drinking is prohibited by law and minors in possession will be addressed aggressively by NJ State Police

Wow! Can't believe he is actually playing here this year. Only 40 minutes away from me...

I am only hesistant this year because it is still the same tour as last year.... SOASOAS 19? I am not sure if I am going to commit esp since all the shows are on Mville TV too.

I think last year the new name came out later, too. It will be a new tour/new merch.

The Arts Center cracked down on tailgating. It may be hard to take up multiple spots

We might have some offsite gathering opportunities nearby.

Over the years we’ve had issues of varying degrees at other tailgates but we always figure it out and try our hardest to still have a fantastic time!!

Yeah, I think you are right. However, I think the one year of the I DK Tour he ran it for two summers at the same location. This might be the same case. Only Time Will Tell

As for PNC, years ago they cracked down hard on tailgating. Kenny used to play there and lots would open around 10AM. Then someone overdosed at Ozzy I believe and they really shut it down. They started to allow "country shows" to tailgate around 4pm. The state trooper presence is INSANE (station next door). When I went to ZBB about 5 years ago, I saw at least four underage arrests in a matter of two hours. All of this is not relevant if you are of age and responsible but just wanted to make the point that PNC does not mess around when it comes to tailgating anymore. This maybe a late ticket purchase for me. Going to see if the tour name changes.
