Is there a tailgating scene for this show? Is the best bet to purchase garage parking ahead of time? What say the masses?

Where is everyone tailgating for Buffett in Nashville on 4/27? With the draft being downtown it's going to be impossible to get in anywhere down there. I know there is a pre-party at Margaritaville but I missed out on that sale somehow. Just want to hang out with some other parrotheads. **Lisa

I bit the bullet and bought the tickets to Margaritaville for the pre-party. Not my first preference but there really didn't seem to be any other good options nearby. Plus I'm doing Atlanta two days before so that's probably a good choice for me. I hadn't realized the draft was there the same weekend. I also went on SpotHero and went ahead and paid for a parking space in a garage.

Looks like the Margaritaville pre-party is sold out. Decided to hop a flight from Florida on Saturday and come on up. First time in Nashville. Flight is 5:30 am after the Kenny Chesney concert the night before (ouch). Trying to find out where people are gathering that aren't at Margaritaville. Any suggestions?

The Margaritaville tailgate is now first come, first served to get in upstairs. The open bar package is indeed sold out, but you can still see The Boat Drunks and pay for food and drink as you go!

Curious how the "Tailgate/Party" went. With the mass of humanity there for the draft seems like the vibe would not have been the best, of course the concert seemed to rally the troops in fine fashion!

The pre-party tailgate was only maybe 40 or 50 people. It was in the "Cowboy in the Jungle Room". Open bar and food on a table. Some of the food was decent and some was pretty bad (cheeseburgers!). I'd say half of the people didn't stay the entire time. The staff was really nice and we did get nice badges and everyone got a Nashville Margaritaville t-shirt. I'm not sure I would do it again if it's only going to be in that small, fairly dark room.
