Are they letting people into the lot? I am working on getting said 15 year old ready who now doesn't want to go because "it's rainy."

They must have let everyone in REALLY early, I got here at noon and everyone was already set up!

Thanks to Pine Knob for letting those gates open wayyyy before the posted 2:00.
Not really surprise it was prior to 2 but Noon was an unexpected surprise!![[smilie=gt-happyup.gif]](./images/smilies/gt-happyup.gif "gt-happyup")
Got a soaker of a rain about 3 pm. Memo...7 people & 2 tables of food don't fit well under 1 basic size EZ up canopy. Took one for the team & stood at the fringe & got SOAKED!

Always good to see & chat with Scott (Chippewa) & his wife Carol....Nomad Al (Omitt)....
P'Red making his stop at Pine Knob in route to the Nati & Alpine this coming week. Barry (Pre Batman Gear) hope you enjoyed your visit!
Always a pleasure to see & talk with Melissa Jane (PetalMel)! Great to see keet Sophie in tow (reigning...or should I say due to the weather..raining...Miss Davison) Hopefully a convert has been made!
Not shedding any tears for not hearing BEG or Boat Drinks...
All in all the band is just playing amazing. Robert G just dominating IMO! Petey Mayer playing his a$$ off. Seems whenever I start thinking attending JB shows is becoming too much about the tailgate & not enough about the concert the Band reels me back in! Way to Coral Reefers!!

I had an absolute ball with Sophie and it was so nice to sneak up on BatMan and say "to the bat pole?" and have him turn around and be able to say "It's PetalMel" to get a big hug! It was nice to meet Dizzy Dean and see OMiTT again. Sophie enjoyed herself and loved the tailgate. She had so much fun just walking around and see everyone's set ups. She "gets" it and I wish we had the opportunity to road trip to Cincy or Alpine just to continue the fun.
