Well folks we are only 50 days out from seeing Jimmy Buffett at DTE (aka Pine Knob to us cool kids). From what I am hearing, with all the construction and road closures, it might take that long to get there. My tailgate shopping is almost done. I hope to meet all of you there.

50 days out....yes, hard to believe. Kind of the unophicial mid point of summer.
I normally come down Sashabaw from the North. Sounds like the construction stops just short of the venue entrance coming from the south. Although the area is more congested these days so it could be a bear making that left hand turn into the lot.....alas I suspect a good samaritan PH will be happy to let me through...

Seems like its been somewhere between noon & 1 last few times through.

Currently showing Pavilion AND Lawn seats available on ticketmaster.
And they're NOT the Verified Re$ale tickets! Seems face value + regular ticket bastard fees..

It was 11 a.m. two concerts ago, which was a Saturday. Last show which was a Tuesday as well, the gates opened a little after 1 p.m.

DTE has stated that gates will open at 2pm . That means I will need your help. I will have a lot of booze and I can’t take most of it home. I will have Margaritas, hurricanes, LandShark, and Jell-O shots for the main tailgate. I will also have Caesars at the pre-tailgate. So look for the Canadian flag and have a drink.

So I s*** at checking in back "home" and have been following BN folks on Facebook. Sounds like BatMan will be in town and I wasn't sure if there are plans for a certain area where we are going to try to park together? I am bringing my 15 year old daughter with me so I am not sure we will be there at 2 when gates as "scheduled" to open. However, even if we end up away from everyone I definitely want to meet up with folks and help drink some of that liquor before it goes bad

I can't believe we are two weeks away! I haven't been to a JB concert since it was at Comerica and I am so excited to get back to Pine Knob where it should be.
