Yep, I'm currently in PT for the next 4 weeks. The can isn't just for balance, but for strength while trying to stand.
Thanks, Molly. It's never been my favorite style of music. It's just where I grew up.springparrot wrote: ↑January 19, 2019 8:54 pm Rhere are many sides to Van....acoustic, rock, blues.......
I didn't know ZZ Top until I married Larry. He really introduced me to other music than what I was listening to.bodypainter wrote: ↑January 19, 2019 8:23 pm Ahoy! I painted a little, hovelled some and loafed the day away. The article Rabz posted took me back to a summer camp I worked with a lot of Brits and one Aussie as counselors. It was a treat sharing life with them.
Anne bought a ZZ Top CD and plays it a LOT. I like them, but not enough to hear it several times a week in her car. Luckily, she prefers Dire Straits now.
Penny, have you tried PT for balance issues?
Me too until I met Larry. I was a top 40ish person. Beatles, Monkees, Beach Boys, Glen Campbell, John Denver.....that time frame.
As did my Kevin. The foster home I was raised in from ages 7-17 was very Religiously conservative. I had no knowledge of music either popular or classic. Husband Kevin, who I met at 17, has opened my ears to lots of music. All genres spanning many years. And I am much appreciative of that !springparrot wrote: ↑January 19, 2019 9:07 pmMe too until I met Larry. I was a top 40ish person. But he expanded my musical tastes.![]()

When I was in college back in the '70s I had pretty strange taste in music. I liked what used to be called "progressive rock" - Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Yes, groups like that - and southern rock was really popular in Long Island - The Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, The Outlaws. I also liked Motown and a lot of British bands that were, and in some cases still are, popular. I was sort of a lukewarm Beach Boys fan, I could take them or leave them.Saltx3 wrote: ↑January 19, 2019 9:35 pmAs did my Kevin.
