ebay modifies Ticket Auctions Policy

A follow-up to a story that was reported here “Dream tickets, Not a Dream Price”

Looks like Ebay has modified their policy somewhat, applicable only to events
in the states with anti-scalping laws:

“Finally, for resales of tickets with a face value of $200 or more (where the event occurs in one of the regulated states or provinces listed below), sellers must include proof of the ticket face value in the listing in the form of a scan of the actual ticket clearly showing the face value. Sellers falsely representing the true face value of any tickets may be permanently suspended from eBay.”

Here is a link to the Mudhens listing on the Pollstar site: http://www.pollstar.com/tour/searchall.pl?By=Artist&Content=MUDHENR&Key=Y

Their web site confirms that they are playing the “Side Stage with Jimmy Buffett at 6:30pm”

VH1’s Where Are They Now?

Did anyone else see Jimmy on VH1’s Where Are They Now “Movies”? They did a nice blurp on Jimmy with regards to “Fast Times at Rigdemont High”. They talked about his long career, books, restaurants, and merchandising powerhouse (how he’s made the Forbes list, etc). Then they went on to say don’t worry Jimmy is still out there touring. They showed a recent looking clip in which Jimmy said “If I still got this (refering to his voice?) and it’s still fun, I’m going to keep going”.
