From Bob Zaleski: Since it seems St. Louis is not hosting a Jimmy Buffett concert, it seems only fitting that we have a pre-non-concert party. “We Heard He Wasn’t In Town Party” will be held at Harrah’s Casino Hotel in Maryland Heights. The party starts on on July 21st, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. and goes to 1:00 a.m. Live music featuring Phins. There will be auctions and door prizes. There will be 2 cash bars. Finger foods / appetizers will be available later in the evening. The proceeds of this party will go to the Alzheimer’s Association. The cost is $20.00 per person. For more information, visit the St Louis PHC web site

From Kwd: There’s an article today in the Palm Beach Post called: “Help find Holey Grail of Krispy Kremes“. The Post writer has been patiently awaiting (27 yrs) for the 1st KK store to be built in PB County & is pleading with us locals to inform him ASAP where it will be built … I think he wants to be 1st in line. (Like buying concert tixs.)
