The June 2001 issue of Business & Commercial Aviation magazine includes a lengthy article on the history of the Grumman family airplanes including the Goose, Widgeon, Mallard, and Albatross. (Jimmy currently owns an Albatross; [N928J] “Hemisphere Dancer”; and has owned a Widgeon, which he crashed off Nantucket on August 25th 1994). The article also heeds mention to Chalk Airlines, on whose aircraft Jimmy received his first seaplane ride.
