Come Monday, I supposed we will all calm down.
But I doubt it. This will take a while to get over, the fact that Jimmy Buffett played right here, right in my town, right out my door, right on the beach, isn’t something that is soon going to fade in the memory.
It’s going to stick around for a while.
That is, if I can even get over the fact that it actually happened, that it was not some sort of Havana Daydreamin’ moment.
But there he was, on stage practically right in front of me with the entire Coral Reefer band (minus the Coral Reeferettes). My feet were in the sand and my orange juice beverage was in my hand. I was livin’ and dyin’ in 3/4 time.
