A Margaritaville complex featuring a hotel, marina, restaurants and a 20,000-square-foot outdoor entertainment venue is planned along the Indian River Lagoon in Melbourne.
The target site is the former Coral Bay-Intracoastal Marina property off U.S. 1, next to the Marina Towers office building just north of NASA Boulevard.
Early cost estimate: $60 million to $65 million. Developer Harry Mirpuri hopes the hotel opens for guests by late 2024 as the sole Margaritaville-themed property in the Space Coast market.
The riverfront complex would feature a Compass by Margaritaville hotel with 145 rooms and suites and a rooftop Salty Rim Bar & Grill, a pool, a 227-slip marina with permanent and transient dockage, a 10,000-square-foot casual beach-style eatery, a 10,000-square-foot “polished casual” restaurant, a marina store and a parking garage.

A 20,000-square-foot event lawn and stage would anchor the resort, hosting musical acts, simulcast Margaritaville concerts, art shows, food truck nights and other events.
Outstanding
Great, keep them coming 🍹😊
This is awesome for our Melbourne community! Can’t wait.
Awesome
When do we start?
The Indian River Lagoon is in DIRE straights. The flora and fauna are dying off or struggling to survive, including record numbers of manatees starving due to lack of food because of the crisis in the IRL. What will you do to IMPROVE the lagoon in the short and long term when building and running your resort?
I agree. How will you ensure you are being responsible and not negAtively impacting the IRL?
will this complex incorporate a 55 and older community, I am referring to the one being built in
Melbourne Florida, with homes/condos with water frontage?
