A bunch of people are going to Cheesburger in Paradise before the concert. My office is very close to St Maartens on the Corner/University Avenue so that's where I'll be tomorrow afternoon. Very cool pre-Cheeseburger In Paradise place that is locally owned. Nothing fancy-- just a bar with some fish ...

have heard that the usual rumors re: cops checking coolers and being tight on booze etc. last year we did see them bust up MANY "games." Heard too that they have paved some of the parking lots? Know anyone who was at Crue Fest this past weekend who could verify?

No info on when tickets are going on sale for the JPJ show. I keep asking around and checking the JPJ site frequently. I'm guessing that this show isn't making headlines because a) "where's charlottesville?" b) MOTM is right before this show. But I'll keep a close eye to the local sources anyway ...

I saw Will Kimbrough play a couple of weeks ago and he mentioned a Fall release date. also said that he wrote a couple of songs for it too. what a super talented guy he is. beautiful work.

There is room for tailgating.......right??? :o There are two surface lots (large) and they will likely sell "premium" parking or something. It's worth getting when you purchase tickets. One lot is right in front of JPJ and the others are at U-Hall. There are plenty of other lots/garages close by ...

Hope you'll consider coming to Cville for this show. JPJ is an exceptional venue! I've seen a couple dozen shows/concerts/games there since they opened. Shout if you need tips on places to stay and eat C'mon down, Y'all!

Key West Singer Songwriter Fest is the during the second weekend of Jazz Fest. Don't know if that happens every year. Don't care 'cause I'm going to Jazz Fest regardless-- music music music and more music. Can hardly wait!

wow kids, mr freaky just pulled 2 in 205 at 10:26 a.m.--

got dumped out by tm.com a few times but finally got something in 304. not great seats but we'll be there. it was close this year--almost had nothing at all.
