My favorite bluegrass tribute bands are Iron Horse (Metallica, Van Halen, Zeppelin, etc) www.ironhorsebluegrass.com and Hayseed Dixie who cover primarily AC/DC (obviously) www.hayseed-dixie.com.

Both bands are really quite talented and both bands do have their own material as well.

We bought a king size Temperpedic 2 years ago and still love it. My husband is fairly good sized (250 lbs) and there aren't any indentation problems on his side. We bought ours for pretty cheap on Ebay and still got the 20 year warranty. So if we did have indentation issues, I'm pretty sure it'd be ...

We haven't seen ND yet cause it just looked so dumb, but I understand it's really good so we'll see. Maybe. As for Nacho, we all LOVE Jack Black so we're thinking of going w/the keets. Trusting a ParrotHead's judgement more than the general population, I'll be looking forward to seeing some of your ...

My grandmother was 66 when she sent to her first show two years ago. She told me this winter she wanted to go to another one in the next couple years. WooHoo! My mom was 65 at her first show 3 years ago. Our youngest child was 9 at the same show. It was an absolute blast. My mom looked so darn cute...

The link on the Today shows front page misspelled Buffett. You'd think they'd know better with as many times as he's been on there.

We saw Derek Trucks about a month ago. Amazingly wonderful! Glad I had the opportunity to see him and will definitely go next year. Before the show, we ate dinner at small retaurant a block away from the venue. Who should we see eating as well? Yep, Derek & the drummer, just having a nice quiet ...

There's a jurisdiction in Northern Virginia (Reston?) that took Public Intoxication enforcement to a new low. The police went into bars and conducted sobriety tests on patrons. Losers take a ride. If you can't get drunk in a bar, where can you? This whole thread reminds me of the routine tha...

Agents and officers said the operation represented an effort to reduce drunken driving. one would think that to do that, the patron would have to have demonstrated an effort to drive. A good defense attorney is going to love that quote in a lot of places, just being in possession of your car keys c...

I'm glad to see Gary Moore has recovered enough to record again. I know that there for a while he was fairly ill and wasn't recording or touring. WooHoo! Love Gary Moore! I was about 17 when I saw him back in the '80's, at a small venue here in Portland, Oregon. I was small enough that I could squeeze myself under everyone's arms and got right up to the stage, right at Gary's feet. I'd jump up on stage whenever he'd change picks, so I have a ...

And as your original question indicates, Buffett draws quite the age range. I have friends close to 60 who would never miss a show and our youngest keet, 12 y.o. is quite the phan as well.
