Re: Good MONDAY Morning @ the MSC

In north Seattle, the hookers roam a 20 block stretch of Aurora Avenue between Lowe's Hardware and Home Depot. I went to Lowe's yesterday and was amused by the number of workin' girls struttin' their stuff and wearing masks. I guess COVID-19 is the one virus you don't need to worry about with them!...

Re: Good MONDAY Morning @ the MSC

Well, I am hunkered down waiting for test results :o Not too worried but I am preparing to hoist the "Yellow Jack" to warn all approaching of contagion!!!! Strangely, in the maritime world the yellow flag (Code Flag Quebec) no longer means contagion on board; it now means pretty much the opposite! S...

Re: Sweet Sunday @ the MSC

Ta Bill.

I did the test out of a healthy abundance of paranoia. I woke with a scratchy throat, which hadn't subsided by lunchtime.

The test was somewhat unpleasant but in "24 to 72 hours" I'll know one way or the other. I am not too worried right now.

Well, just back from the Covid Test Clinic.

I have to isolate until the results come back. The upshot of which is that nothing needs to change!

Well they won't bother me unless the neighbor I sued from a dog attack calls. That is why I cut them on her side. Code can be a pain, they look over our fences to see if you put up a shed. And that is why we will NEVER live in a strata or "home owner association" type property. It's nobody's busine...

Re: Got My Tony Lamas On SATURDAY@ the MSC

Back home from the range. A very calm, socially distanced morning. And surprisingly, no wannabe's turned up just club members who know what they're doing. It's mid-afternoon and they're predicting storms overnight, so I might grab a snooze because the storms will wake me tonight, no doubt. I did so...

Re: Got My Tony Lamas On SATURDAY@ the MSC

i know that this is the forum or the place for this kind of stuff, but i just don't get it. A cop shot and killed a 20 year old yesterday in Detroit. The video shows the kid pulling out a gun, and firing at the cop. The cop pulled his gun and fired back. They are calling for "Justice" for the kid, ...

Re: Tropical Storm Faye Friday @ the MSC

Well it's early Saturday evening, cold , wet and miserable weather.

I have my red watch cap on, laying on a lounge, wrapped in a blanket watching Cousteau documentaries.

I might even pause the movie to fix myself a small rum...

Re: Tropical Storm Faye Friday @ the MSC

Good luck to those flirting with Faye.

The East Coast Low here has drifted further south than anticipated, well at least for now. Meaning the 4, 5, 6 inches of rain are no longer forecast here. These lows are a bit unpredictable, so we are keeping a 'weather eye' on proceedings.

Re: Pina Colada THURSDAY @ the MSC

Tropical storm warning for Jersey. I hope Fay wears a mask We have a East Coast Tropical Low forming here Sunday/Monday/Tuesday. These are a temperate version of a cyclone but as they aren't fed by as much warm water and air the winds are less but the rains can be similar. Thankfully they don't nam...

And that's something you're going to get checked....?
If it doesn't recede any further in the next day or so, yes.

The wisdom tooth has been checked a few times and it does flare up from time to time but it sorts itself in a day or three.

Morning All. It's cold here and work sux. Apparently early next week an "east coast low" is going to form off the coast, so strong winds and large rainfall totals. We've only just got the house fixed after the last lot. How ya feeling? To be honest, about the same. no temperature rise, but a scratc...
