Tour company has a corporate outing this week and rumor has it we are having a surprise band thursday night. Any chance it could be Jimmy? Since the company is hush-hush how could I find out?

Where do I stay? I called the endzone and they are not taking reservations until a month before or so.

Make sure you decide quickly. You can always cancel, I just got 6 rooms at the Marriott Courtyard, just 3 miles from Great Woods. They will be gone by Monday!

6:30 would be a bit early....2 years ago they opened the gates at 10am (I think) and we were about the 20th car in line.....the lot seemed to be slowly filling up until about 11:30-12:00, then it exploded.....This year my lame ass group of friends want to get there around noon....very late, but sinc...

mexcooker12, most folks meet about a mile passed the Tweeter center at McDonalds. It has a big lot and everyone can find it. Once off the exit dive passed the venue, go maybe 1-1.5 miles and it is on your left. Much easier to meet there than anywhere else.

I was at tiki bar this weekend and they are planning to open at noon on Friday. No covercharge, but they anticipate very long lines since the bar is so small!

I was at the Tiki bar before the Sox game on Saturday and they told me that they will be opening at noon, with no covercharge(the only place around with no cover). The bartender said that he plans a 14 hour shirft, so i assume that means they are open until at least 2am!

We have 8 folks going to the party, but I think it starts at 4pm. What are folks doing before the Axis/Avalon thing? i orderd my tickets about 10 days ago and they have yet to arrive.

I am going with a group of 8 to the Corona party, but no matter what the party will NOT be able to even come close to Greatwoods. Greeatwoods would be a 10 and this, in my wiledst dreams, will be around a 4. Bubba better move back to Mansfield next year........

Yes they check tickets at the entrance to greatwoods, no they really don't look to close and yes the gates open way before the posted time (just thought I would throw that in) and yes I am going to both shows, but let's face $100-$150 buks for an all day event once a year is a bargin. Last few years he has been palying a small outside show (maybe 50 phans) on the sunday following the satuday greatwoods show. he plays a small diner in Concord NH. Mostly hung over fans still in the cloths from the day before, but it is great. Not sure if he is doing it this year Frank going to g-wo...

Ok...my two cents...get there before 11am....Each of the last 3 years we have arrived as early as 10am and they let us in. I have been to several other cities to see buffett and they were great, but they were no "Greatwoods". Rain or shine life can not get any better than a show in Mansfie...
