i prefer white wines - german in particular. riesling, liefermilch (sorry, can't spell it!), gurwurtztramiener (once again, incorrect spelling), and alsace are my favorites. all are fairly sweet and fruity and go down oh-so-easily.

it's a gorgeous night here in minnesota.........we've got the computer speakers right next to the window, sitting outside enjoying a few (many, many) drinks on the patio............it really doesn't get much better than this!

we were thisclose to naming our new puppy Tiki - or Monday. (partly because of the JB tune, partly because that's the day we found/almost ran over her).............in the end, we decided on Matilda, but we call her Tilly.

we were also in the first row - pulled in to the parking line while they were still turning cars away...........and then BAM - they opened the gates. probably one of the first 15 cars. anyone do a beer bong with a bunch of younger guys? those were my brother and his buddies. they seemed to give more...

we're hitting the road tomorrow at 6am. i've got jello shots 'setting' in the fridge, a list made for the liquour store, and a car to clean out!!

i'm also in the middle of a huge ticket controversy with someone that bought 5 of my extras.........putting a little damper on the preparations.

we're from minnesota - i'd go to both shows but the ball and chain (aka boyfriend) wouldn't be up to it..........he's not a diehard like the people on this website!!

what are my chances of buying tickets off the street for the cubs game on friday? is scalping legal? do we have any hope of getting tickets for close to face value?

if that doesn't work..........we'll go for plan B..........2 barstools and a lot of alcohol.

does anybody still need tickets to this show? i'm 99% that i've got a pair of lawn seats.............they sold on ebay last weekend but the idiot hasn't paid. he/she will be reported to ebay and the tickets will be available if i don't get a payment tomorrow...........i'm just asking face value/TM f...

i don't think we'll be there until thursday morning - we plan on leaving home by 6am. we will be two tired parrotheads. the other option is leaving after work on wednesday and heading to milwaukee to stay with friends. we have to figure that one out, though - not sure how they'd feel about us stroll...

st. paul has done charlie brown, lucy, woodstock, snoopy, and now this year is snoopy's doghouse with him sleeping on the top and woodstock standing on his foot.

we're staying friday and saturday night at le meridien on michigan avenue........it's close to wrigley so we'll head that way on friday to try and get tickets on the street. if we don't have any luck with that, we'll head to a bar and enjoy the game from a stool.

it was my first JB concert - and i absolutely cannot wait for chicago in august............we had such a great time. he puts on a fabulous show. i wouldn't be too surprised if he's still hanging out in MN to catch the Lakers/TWolves playoff game tonight at the Target Center.
