Re: Who's Going to Charlotte 4/7/18?
Uhmmm, too cold? Day before the show... Uhmmm... Glad I hadn't gotten in the car yet, right Jimmy? Seriously, you're upset by the reschedule? He did what was right. Many artists wouldn't have even rescheduled at all. Really appreciate him making it work. I will take 3 weeks for a 75-80 degre...

We'll be there! We are going to take 1/2 day and drive down from Charlotte. We'll get a few hours of tailgaitin' in, then head back after the show.

Re: "They only see the islands from a tacky cruise ship."
It's all about perspective. Half full or half empty? Excellent Point! While I would much rather spend a week on an island, than on a cruise ship (and would recommend such)--to each, their own. A cruise ship makes a lot better fit for a Margaritaville, then Phoenix--or Nashville--or Connecticut But,...

Re: JB Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame
I'm not sure that Jimmy fits in the Rock and Roll HOF (and they have pretty much stayed away from True Country Singers/Bands.
However, I would also debate whether the 4 Hip-Hop Acts (Beastie Boys being the closest) and Jimmy Cliff belong in the Hall, as well.

Re: Fast Buck Freddie's to close......
Jimmy would miss an opportunity if he didn't expand. Yes, the store there now would be a great outdoor-table place. The store as is, is now WAY too small. I was in there one time and I couldn't move, literally. You get more than a few people in there or one mom with a stroller, and you can't get ar...

Consider this your warning. PAY FOR VIP parking. The regular lots were a NIGHTMARE getting out of last year. Cars going all directions. I tried to go one way out to the main road and encounteres orange barrels and tape that had not been there before I went into the show. There was a line of cars be...

If I remember correctly, he was the recorded narrator for part of Peter Mayer's "Stars and Promises" Tour. If anyone communicates with Peter, maybe he can provide some info.

Saw S&P last night in North Carolina. It was a great show! 6 musicians and at least 40 instruments on stage. The second set opens with an "old school" radio show on stage narrated by Steve Huntington. Well worth it!

Honestly, as I had said before, those who bought tickets for the show in Bristow and complaining that they can't tailgate, ll I am going to say is that you deserve it. The policy has always been there and wasn't enforced until now. You bought the ticket and are to agree to the policy of the venue. ...

Re: "Crystal" as referred to in the Margaritaville cookbook?
Many of you miss the point.. the right and specific ingrediant is absolutely crucial. No ordinary hot sauce will do. Like anything else, if you substitute, you get an inferior product. Its why most of us who care will take the time to order in the right stuff for recipes when called for. No, I thin...
