I don't really believe that he has to pay a fine to allow the tailgating.. I think it's more like "If you don't let my fans tailgate, I'll take my show to another arena...." Naturally when Buffett plays, its VERY good for the economy, so it's really stupid for them NOT to allow the tailgat...

Re: pavillion seats

tsquared41 wrote:All pavillion seats are covered
They call it "uncovered" because some of the seats near the back of the Pavilion are subject to wind and rain blowing from the back :o

I secured a ticket in section 205, row YY, seat 19 :D

(But for some reason the tickets cost me 126.00, even though I asked for 86.00 or second pavilion.)

Oh well, it's a pretty good view from there to the stage :)

Myself, I have met several celebrities (mainly old former football players), but I'm more like someone who'll "treat them like normal folks". If I met Jimmy it would be no exception to the rule.

I guess I really don't care who wins, but my heart will be with Chicago. I really don't like Peyton Manning all that much, for one I REALLY hate those commericals he's in, and for two, he's as much a "crybaby" as Rex is when things don't go his way. I will admit that he's one of the best q...

everyone knows that the true buffett fans are in the lawn seats anyway.. :pirate: The thing about the Lawn was that it was COMPLETELY packed at Tinley to a point where you found your spot and didn't move for the next couple of hours. Now the pavilion seat I got gave me enough room to breathe (plus ...

Interesting perspective. I imagine Peart would enjoy "Beach House On The Moon" or "Come To The Moon". He's probably just mad that Buffett doesn't sing about space or science fiction in every song. I'm not a huge Rush fan, but I like their singer. She has a beautiful voice. She? ...

While I agree I'd like to hear this again live, I have to admit that the song would really be a "downer" if played during the heart of a concert and would probably be best as an "encore".....

(Maybe we should start an encore requests thread in case Jimmy's checking? )

(You probably mentioned this already, I didn't check the link) but this is one of the songs on the Boats , Beaches, Bars , and Ballads, collection, which is a GREAT introduction to those that are only familiar with the "Yellow Album" :D
