I'm just glad we can move on to the World Series. Hopefully it'll be a sweep. I don't care who wins, but with only 8 channels of TV, I want FOX back. :-? :-? Miss the OC? Ummmm. No.  The news starts at 9pm on Fox here in Denver and that way I get to bed at a reasonable hour. News is ov...

What really needs to be addressed is the quality of the umpire and their apparent desire to be a part of the show. Actually, I think the ...

Re: Gift-Wrapping the World Series

Question will be, how would you go about implementing this system? There could be a guy in a booth upstairs who, like in football, has access to the video feeds of whatever network(s) are covering the game. It's not hard to know when there is a call that is questionable. At that time he would revie...

I have a GMC Jimmy '91 that I got for $1500. It was mint green but I had it painted, so it's only mint green in the door jams, and a really pretty blue on the rest. That was 4 years ago, and now she's not looking too hot. Whenever I drive it, I hear sounds, so I turn up the radio. The car's on it's ...

When they start making them for us to read to animals or plants, then it's officially too far. By the way, I heard that "Chicken Soup for the Dog's Soul" is sue out in time for Christmas.

Gift-Wrapping the World Series

First let me say, I am not a fan of either the Astros or the Cards. In fact, I'm a Phillies fan (woe is I) and I have reason to dislike both teams. However, I am a fan of baseball. With that said, last night's game was rediculous. When the second base umpire called the Cardinal runner out (I am draw...

Oooooohhhhhhh. Speaking of which...does anyone have any really good resources for determining salaries in other states? I'm sure more $$ would be required due to the whoppingly ginormous cost of living in Honolulu. There's websites for that. Salary.com i think, but I know there's others. Google it.
